Orthopedic Massage is a comprehensive system (rather than a single technique) that involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of soft tissue to resolve pain and dysfunction. Its focus is restoring function and structural balance throughout the body for both prevention and rehabilitation of myoskeletal dysfunctions. Orthopedic massage takes a multidisciplinary approach that looks to resolve the origin of pain and dysfunction resulting from trauma induced injuries or postural balances that exacerbate pain through daily activities.

KATE E. PETROWSKY, NCTMB
I am a licensed therapeutic massage therapist and have been working since 2004. I truly love what I do. Helping people is my passion.
My specialty is pain relief and restorative care.
I achieve this with several techniques including trigger point release, nerve mobilization, myoskeletal correction, and cupping. Some of the conditions I treat are sciatica, back spasm/pain, frozen shoulder, hip issues, thoracic outlet syndrome, carpal tunnel, tennis/golfers elbow, IT band pain, whiplash, tendonitis/tendonosis, and scar tissue release.
I work very closely with my clients to establish a home program that will continue to provide relief long after the office visit. I look forward to working with you.
